Ping pong...

Ping-a-pong... ding-a-dong... sing-a-song...

I have been ping ponging since few days. Before joining intoto i wondered how they play on a small board with light weighted ball and a mini bat. But having only two options, one being carroms and the other being table tennis i was confined to only these entertainments in my office. At the beginning i used to play TT but as the TT association was huge i slipped from TT to carroms. Those days i haven't got chance to play as there were lot of TT enthusiasts and even if i got one chance in 10 tries, i used to fail as the opponents were experienced. So jumped in to carroms and within no time ruled the boards. It gained me lot of confidence ( sometimes over confidence ). Starting i was stumbling to play with big big people. But later, instead of concentrating on opponents i started concentrating on game. Now Our batch has almost international level carrom players, with suresh in the lead. This time the scene was reverse. All were coming to carroms instead of TT. Now i was unable to get chance to play carroms and eventhough if i got a chance, i have had to play only 3 to 4 rounds. Instead of waiting now i turned to TT which was almost empty. This time TT looked amazing. Playing by managing to place the ball only on table was a difficult task. But was too interesting. Now iam an average player. Facing some strong opponents has some what become comfortable, but need to reduce stress on mind. And already my colleagues are flirting (teasing) me. They given me "Intoto TT debut" award.

Song on my mind...

I am a great music lover. My music taste ranges from 0 to Infinite. Of late, i came across this song and was humming it since 2 days. It hit me right in my heart. Play the song and go through the lyrix. I am sure, you will definitely enjoy. But to understand the lyrix you should be good at Hindi. Thank God to those who taught me hindi and thanks to hindi channels & movies. Also i am much fascinated to learn Tamil, coz i love tamil songs a lot. But it remained as an unaccomplished mission.

Here comes the link... Download it and unzip it and open it in Real Media Player ( I zipped it for those who are reading my blogs in office, coz Sys Admins won't allow downloading media files )

Ya Ali Reham Ali <---> Movie: Gangster Singer: Zubeen

And, here comes the song...

"ya ali reham ali
ya ali yaar pe qurbaan hai sabhi
ya ali madad ali
ya ali yeh meri jaan yeh meri zindagi
ishq pe mita doon luta doon
main apani khudi
yaar pe haan luta doon mita doon
main yeh hasti
ya ali reham ali
ya ali yaar pe qurbaan hai sabhi
ya ali madad ali
ya ali yeh meri jaan yeh meri zindagi

mujhe kuchh pal de purvat ke
faki hampe chahat ke
rahe bechain dil kab tak
milen kuchh pal toh raahat ke
chahat pe ishq pe haa mita doon luta doon
main apani khudi
yaar pe ha luta doon mita doon
main yeh hasti
ya ali reham ali
ya ali yaar pe qurbaan hai sabhi
ya ali madad ali
ya ali yeh meri jaan yeh meri zindagi

bina tere na ek pal ho na bin tere kabhi kal ho
yeh dil ban jaaye pathhar ka na ismein koi hulchul ho
sanam pe ha ishq pe ha mita doon luta doon
main apani khudi
kasam se ha luta doon mita doon
main yeh hastii
ya ali reham ali
ya ali yaar pe qurbaan hai sabhi
ya ali madad ali
ya ali yeh meri jaan yeh meri zindagi"

9-10-12-19-22-23-25

Is the title looking like any kind of "da vinci code". No man, those are my dates for this month. This month i am blessed with lots of parties. I mean lots of birthdays. Its better to script june as partying month of 2006 ( who knows whats going to happen next year ). Coming to the point, this month there are birthday bashes of two of my girl friends, one of my enemy, three of my colleagues and one of my best friend. 9-10-12 are of girls. Have you ever seen any girl giving party to a guy on her b'day? if so, you are lucky, but iam not yet. Girls hate giving parties but they like receiving gifts. Hell with girls. (Oops... my sincere appologies to Akhila Bharatiya Ammayila Sangam... please don't protest me). 19-22-23 were of my colleagues.

19th ----> Datla Veera Raghava Raju alias Raghu alias Raju alias Hitler
22nd ---> O Srujana Reddy
23rd ----> K Supriya

Srujana's party was postponed as she was ill. But we had a great treat on Raghu's and Supriya's B'day. Thanks to them for the wonderful party. I will be updating those details later. Yet iam eagerly waiting for the last b'day of this month. This is some how special to me... It's my raju's b'day... PLSSSN Raju's b'day... I will be missing him as he is going to celebrate this b'day at IIT, Mumbai. But he will be there for me through out my life as a good friend. (God... Please atleast preserve this relationship from my mistakes).

Mega Movie...

I thought "At last the day came" when i came to know that "Da Vinci Code" is being released in A.P. So planned to book tickets for the first day show. But to my dissapointment A.P. Govt has banned it's screeing in theatres. I thought of crucifying this government. When the CBFC has cleared the issue then whats the problem with A.P. Govt. It became like day dream until my colleague srihari told that he has a copy of that movie. Thanks to him for making my dream come true. I really owe him something. After seeing the movie i felt little bit dissapointed. The picturisation was far away from my imagination. Of course some scenes were identical but the movie seems to run at a faster pace than the book. The book contains indepth description of each and every scene and artifact. And the movie lacks this very basic thing. With out reading the book or going through the articles on "da vinci code" in news papers one cannot understand the theme of the movie. The quality and picturisation is ok, but it can't satisfy the people who read the book. Another dissapointment in my life...

Docs - Licensed to Kill.....

Few days back i visited a doctor for sinus problem. I told her that i was taking medicines as it was a common problem for me. So she asked me what i taking. I told her some tablet names and she was shocked to hear one name from me. She scolded me and the doctor who prescribed that medicine coz that medicine's side effect was diabeties. I too was shocked as that medicine was prescribed by a well known doctor. So i started taking medicines prescribed by new doctor and of late i came to a conclusion that they were of no use as there was no relief. Out of frustration i visited my old doctor and this time also he prescribed those side effect tablets. I told him that one doctor warned me not to take those tablets and now this time it was his turn to scold me and the other doctor who suggested not to take that medicine. Already i have been suffering with sinus and this has become a new problem. Iam loosing faith on doctors. Now i started searching for the composition of tablets and its side effects in google before taking them. And one interesting thing, One of these doctors asked me to go through Blood, Urine and X-Ray tests. I went to Medinova Diagnistic Center for this. I gave prescription at the billing counter and after few minutes they given me the bill which amounted to 525/-. There were four items on the bill and what it was written on prescription GOK (God Only Knows). Hell with doctors handwriting. Doctor has written something like this in unknown script,

1. CBP
2. ESR
3. CVE
4. X-Ray PNS-PA
5. RBS.

And medinova people billed like this,

1. CBP With ESR
2. Urine Routine
3. X-Ray P.N.S TWO FILMS
4. Glucose Random

When i went to the X-Ray theatre, the lab technician got confused and asked me to show prescription. Later he took me to billing counter and said to change the x-ray bill. When i enquired i came to know that they billed for two films of same x-ray. Who on this earth will take two copies of same x-ray? are they passport sized photographs? are they needed to be pasted on some kind of application forms? I thought of XYZing the medinova staff but because of illness i kept silent.

I should start eating apples...

Still Recovering...

Due to tsunami (sinusitis) i have been away from blogs for quite a long time. Though thought of publishing blogs now and then, it wasn't possible for me to put on my ideas. I was quite uncomfortable with throat pain, head ache, ear blockage and fever. I think this is the effect of swimming. I paid 1100 bucks for swimming and paying 2000+ bucks (still counting...) for its side effects. When i will be alright GOK (God Only Knows). Thats why they say "precaution is better than cure". A good quote on this occasion...

"An apple a day
Keeps the
Doctor Away
If the Doctor is
handsome
throw the
apple away "

Hit by Tsunami

Wondering where this second Tsunami came from? Ya, it's a kind of tsunami to me... few days back i have been hit by sinusitis (it's purely my assumption)... may be due to weather change... or else due to those stupid gupchups ( ymmm...) i ate on that rainy day... or may be due to impure pool water... or may be due to outside food... I like this kind of research... believe me... i have been trying to discover what i have been attacked by and even testing my body with different kinds of medicines... but my bad luck... due to high fever i decided to approach a doc yesterday... waited till 9:30pm and doc didn't came... so got another 24hrs to continue testing... but no use... may be going to see the same doc today at 9:30pm... this was the reason keeping me away from my blogs... lots more to be published... but only after tsunami disspears... Till then... Aaaa... Ooooo... Aaaouchhh....
