Anti-Reservation Force

I never thought of envisioning a situation like this in India under the esteemed guidance of our prime minister Manmohan Singh, who is known to be the highly educated and qualified P.M in the world and Our role model A.P.J.Abdul Kalam, who doesn't even need an introduction. Whom ever you query, the answer would be "INJUSTICE". I have been going through the news and mails on proposal of increasing reservation quota in education by indian govt. And medicos all over india are already against it and trying to put it off. The Govt say that the idea behind this proposal is to increase the literacy rate among the backward classes and tribal groups. But this need to be started with reservation in education? If this happens then definitely the education standards will fall down. How can one judge a person by his class (i mean caste). Will you be wishing to have an open heart surgery by a doctor who got degree under reservation quota? Does a person who scores 80% in GATE and enters an IIT will equal a person who scores 99.9% and enters in to the same IIT? Then why this injustice? Why our leaders are taking such kind of decisions? Sure this might be a stunt to attract votes for the coming elections. I think we people are the reason for this problem, coz we people have elected such kind of leaders. So i feel to be responsible and willing to protest against this. I signed on the petition and am with all those people who are on hunger strike against this proposal. In a recent public talk, wipro head Azim Premji said these words...

"I think we should have job reservations in all the fields. I completely support the PM and all the politicians for promoting this. Let's start the reservation with our cricket team.

We should have 10 percent reservation for muslims. 30 percent for OBC, SC/ST like that. Cricket rules should be modified accordingly. The boundary circle should be reduced for an SC/ST player. The four hit by an OBC player should be considered as a six and a six hit by a OBC player should be counted as 8 runs. An OBC player scoring 60 runs should be declared
as a century.

We should influence ICC and make rules so that the pace bowlers like Shoaib Akhtar should not bowl fast balls to our OBC player. Bowlers should bowl maximum speed of 80 kilometer per hour to an OBC player. Any delivery above this speed should be made illegal.

Also we should have reservation in Olympics. In the 100 meters race, an OBC player should be given a gold medal if he runs 80 meters.

There can be reservation in Government jobs also. Let's recruit SC/ST and OBC pilots for aircrafts which are carrying the ministers and politicians (that can really help the country..)

Ensure that only SC/ST and OBC doctors do the operations for the ministers and other politicians. (Another way of saving the country..)

Let's be creative and think of ways and means to guide INDIA forward...
Let's show the world that INDIA is a GREAT country. Let's be proud of being an INDIAN..

May the good breed of politicans like ARJUN SINGH long live..."

Value a person by his talent and not by his caste. If govt is really willing to help
backward classes and increase literacy rate then they can approach in some
other way. May be they can do this by increasing resources for the poor to study. There is an online petition going on at http://www.petitiononline.com/arb06/petition.html .
Find some time to sign it and join me against the injustice.

Dream Project I

I have been quite busy these days. On 9th May i have started my dream project. I joined Swimming course. I have been planning to learn swimming since a long time but not got a chance. During my intermediate, i was busy with my studies, especially EAMCET. During B.Tech, i was busy with my friends, especially girls. After B.Tech, i was busy with my career, especially job. And after getting job, i was busy with work, especially nothing. But keeping in mind my future, i decided to join as soon as possible. Who knows what happens to one after marriage? And also i had a reason for this strong determination. I have jala gandam in my janam raasi. and Who knows, i may fall in Hussain Sagar while going to room, i may fall in moosi nadi while going to imli busstand, i may fall in Atlantic ocean while flying to America.

So, First I tried at MCH swimming pool as it was only 400/- per month, but failed to get joining forms. Later I opted for Manohara Swimming Pool as this was located near to my room and it costed 1100/- per month and 1 hr per day. I thought that was too much to afford for 1hr per day and asked to allow us to swim as much time as we can. Coach said that we won't be able to swim for more than 1hr. I laughed at him. So, on May 9, at 7:30AM, i had my first dip. It being a first day i was there in the pool for only 30mins. First 2 days happy, fully enjoy. 3rd day problem stated. Leg pain, stomach pain, hand pain. Forth day, dumma. Fifth day, i was almost crying while swimming and this time the coach was laughing at me ( donga sachinodu ). I felt like dying in the pool and was panting like a dog. One round and i was totally out of breath. Jala gandam antey idhenemo anipinchindi. Thank God, today is holiday for swimming pool.

The Sands of Time

Another novel by the famous Sidney Sheldon. A good one. I finished this book within 2 days. Sidney Sheldon is good at story telling. His novels are adventurous, thrilling and romantic. This novel is about a rebel named Jamie Miro who fights for the freedom of his country. Lots of twists and turns. Each chapter opens with a new scene. This novel strikes readers imagination skills. And my interest in reading books is hereditary. This is one of the greatest hobbies i inherited from my Dad. He used to bring magazines, novels when i was kid. I used to read them and enjoy. I first favourite magazine was "Bala Jyothi" in telugu and "Gokulam" in english. I don't remember my first telugu novel, but my first english novel was "Nothing Lasts Forever by Sidney Sheldon". Thanks to Raju for buying this book. And the journey continues. Book reading is a good habit. I improves your reading skills, vocabulary, presentation skills, imagination and lot more. Currently iam peeping into Digital Fortress by Dan Brown. I will keep on reviewing the books i read so that you will get excited to read them. I you make it a habit to read books then for sure one day you will be able to read a person like a book. Better start with me...

O, Draconian Devil!
Oh, Lame Saint!

The Da Vinci Code. No words to describe it, except codes and puzzles. I got this book one month back in Koti sunday market for 75/-. I heard some where about this book but was not sure of the story in it. The title attracted me very much. I gone through the excerpt and was surprised to read such good composition. Even though the book had 500+ pages, i dared to buy that one. I love reading books but i haven't tried such big books. So, this was my first biggest fiction novel. After buying, i haven't touched the book for one week, fearing how to start that big one. And one i opened the first page, i was unable to keep it off. This is a real page turner. An unputdownable novel by Dan Brown. Besides being a fiction novel, it contains lot of secrets, which are believed to be true. A suspense novel that makes you think, both while reading and after reading the book. Believe it or not, it has been 2 weeks since i completed the book and still feeling excited by that story. I have been searching Google for the accuracy of the subject the author dealt with in the novel. Iam even participating in "The Da Vinci Code Google online quest". And the most suprising part is that the book is being made in to a movie and the movie is going to be released all over the world on May 19th. I was shocked when i have seen the trailer of the movie. Some scenes were as much similar to those i dreamt while reading the novel. I can't say that this is the only best book, but at this time it out-rated all those books i have read in the past ( including Five Point Someone, Nothing Lasts Forever, The Sands of Time ). This is a good gift to a bookohlic. But there's only 11 days left for it to be released as a movie, and iam eagerly waiting to watch it.

Hattrick!!!

Last week, i had been to 3 movies, that too on consecutive days. Watching movies is not an uncommon thing for me, and watching movies on consecutive days was also not an uncommon thing, but it had been so long since i ATTACKED on movies this way. There may be some reason for me watching movies like this but ultimately i felt like a college going student, bunking the class and lying at home to see movies. So the movies are...

Darna Zaroori Hai

This movie is another product from THE FACTORY. I don't know what Ram Gopal Varma's intention is, but sure he is trying to remind us something which we are unaware of. This seemed to be a sequel of "Darna Mana Hai". I don't want to discuss the story, but it contains one main story including six sub-stories. The cast of the movie include Amithabachan, Rithesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Anil Kapoor, Sunil Shetty, Rajpal Yadav, Bipasha Basu, Sonali Kulkarni, Rasika Joshi, Nisha Kothari, and one and only Mallika Sherawat. Ofcourse the cast included many more but i don't know them. Some times i like to compare Ram Gopal Varma with Infosys Narayana Murthy. Like Narayana Murthy intakes herd of freshers the same way Ram intakes new artists and directors. Apart from the DTS sound effects there is not much to scare you in this movie. One speciality of this movie is that the six sub-stories are directed by six different directors. Aakir mein movie dekhne ke baad mein ne socha ki is movie ko "Dekhna Zaroori Hai".

Pournami

This movie is based on 1960 story line. Putting off all those warnings by my friends and colleagues i planned to watch this movie on a sunday night. By luck i was 10mins late to this movie. Thanks to hyderabad traffic. First half i almost felt sleeping but tried hard to watch Charmee. Also i paid 40 bucks for it. Prabhas enacted as Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya, Rajendra Prasad in old movies. But his performance was too god in the second half. Story line was too weak. The most awaited trisha entered in the second half and was there on the screen for about 30mins. Well, i don't want to dig into the past, coz i already suffered once. That was Pournami - a tale about prabhas, trisha and charmee. I think we have to wait for the "Amavaasya" to come as a sequel of this movie.

Pokiri

This was the last wicket. My friend Mahesh's ( mustabad ) influence worked out once again. He got 2 tickets for us through recommendations. This is a girls guy's movie. Why i wrote like this means, Mahesh Babu's fan list includes entire andhra girls. There's a reason, he looks cute like baby. I wonder why this andhra girls hate Krishna and love his son Mahesh Babu. Partiality. They should love krishna first. This time my friends and colleagues suggested me to see this movie. So i went with lot of exepctations, and that trapped me. Lot of mall-masala was there in it. Violence and Exposing rated it as 'A' movie ( Adult Movie). Story line is good but we can expect the scenes. I liked illeana and i disliked Mahesh Babu's hair style. 2 songs are good and nothing more to say. Definitely this will be a HIT. I know what telugu people like.
